PayPal Burning Books
Are you aware that PayPal has taken it upon themselves to censor erotica by pressuring the publishers to meet their censorship guidelines or they will withdraw their credit card services. Since PayPal has a virtual monopoly on online credit card processing for non-mega sites, so the publishers are feeling the pinch and caving in. Censorship by corporation officers – a new model for demagoguery. Read more about it here:

Wow that means we can no longer purchase bibles online right? I mean they have the whole gammut of rape, incest adultery beastiality sodomy etc. I’m really going to miss being able to purchase a bible online.
Isn’t Pay Pal becoming notorious for questionable practices? It’s frustrating.
PayPal is bad. They destroyed a violin, and are extremely hard to deal with when it comes to firearms
@amateurprose - @npr32486 - they really have a reputation for being very difficult and arbitrary in their dealings.
WOW. I’ve only used paypal a handful of times….I had no idea things like this were going on. How ridiculous!
I think it’s very odd for an online money service like PayPal to censor literature… but I guess it can happen.
This is odd and I hope that this censorship thing ends.
@Cestovatelka - I guess there are some Tea Party members that wind up in executive jobs.
Their practices are odd for a business in the business of money.
Here is PayPal’s defense for their position. am I the only one who thinks this makes no sense. https://www.thepaypalblog.com/2012/03/paypals-acceptable-use-policy-on-sale-of-certain-erotica/
@SweetlyJaneBarrows - @Cestovatelka - @wretched_epiphany - @npr32486 - Good news. PayPal has backed down and will be revising its policies, allowing publishers to print any legal material. (So I’ve been told.) Thanks for your support.
