If you have ever taken the drug ecstasy I would love to hear about your experience/feelings. You can respond here in the public comments or to me privately and I’ll retain your confidentiality.
I have, I’ve only done it three times and I have to say it was amazing. It’s like taking a happy pill, you feel free. Light as air, everything feels and tastes so good. As the night goes on it fades, and this is where kids abuse it. Because it really is still in your system, it comes in waves. It literally to me felt like a wave of warm ocean water flowing over me, and then I would be in lala land, completely aware of what is going on around me but I was just in a more mellow frame of mind. Most kids don’t understand that it can be like this for hours, the waves of euphoria last shorter and longer periods of time pass in between each wave but it’s still there. I can see why someone would get addicted to it, that happy carefree feeling is beyond words. But I only did it those 3 times in a very bad time period and never touched it again.
I have never done any drugs. Unless alcohol is a drug? heheh, hmmmm, well never done ecstasy before.
@olwd - @wyckdstorm - thanks for your comments. Thanks Kate for sharing your experiences.
I’ve been curious about it, as it would be interesting to feel its effects, but I doubt I would ever try it. I’d be afraid of it becoming an addiction or something.
It’s interesting to read about it, like the first comment, though.
Dear Rush,
I don’t write erotica, but I’ve published most of “My Sexual History” right here on Xanga. Some of the entries were pretty popular.My youth was spent in the early 1970s, and was filled with sex, drugs and rock and roll. I’ve taken pretty much every drug ever manufactured, except for heroin. And though I’ve smoked a lot of meth in my day, I won’t “shoot” anything into my body with a hypodermic.I’ve taken ecstasy a few times, and personally, I didn’t get the big deal. The drug has never done anything for me. Even the mid 70s LSD (acid was always my drug of choice and if I could find any now, I’d gobble it in a second. Well, I’d make sure I was in a safe place, like home first. LOL) was heavily mixed with methamphetamine, so the hallucinogenic part of the drug was a little less heady than in the 60s. But it was a much better high than ecstasy.Last year I posted about spice. They just outlawed this drug, which was legal in SoCal until a couple of months ago. Smoking enough of this gives one a pretty neat high. Too bad it’s not available.I know some younger folks who really get off on ecstasy but it’s not for me. Possibly because they never took some of the “good stuff” available back in the day.Thanks for visiting my blog, leaving a comment, and either befriending or subscribing.Michael F. Never took any thing like that, but was interesting to read the comments here. Thank you for visiting my blog Rush. I agree with you about the dental anesthesia part. However, the discomfort and the feeling of being drugged stayed till mid morning today.
I believe I’ve tried every drug under the sun ( I was a bit of a wild child.) My experiences with ecstasy were ones of happiness…. except in the sack! For some reason, I could not climax when I was under the influence of this stupid drug. One word for that: Unacceptable!
@Kellsbella - I haven’t but I’m pretty sure I made love to a woman who was high on it one time. She had extreme reactions to my touch, probably had seven to eight orgasms through the night (to my two) but didn’t seem to remember a lot of it the next morning.

And there you have it.
@Kellsbella - thanks Kel
@RushmoreJ - So have you tried it?
