Obviously too late but love your idea..if some above do not “pay it forward” and the waiting list gets a chance..( ah me discernment or a pendulem to tell who keeps their word”?

I would like to be on the list…well Im on it anyway..prize or not..

Recently everyone ( in my insular life) has suddenly began using “pay it forward” as their mindless mantra..ie. a friend took me to lunch..( sweet yes but ulterior motives at work she wanted me to throw one of those Pampered Parties and hoped I would cave after a nice salad) …She also happens to owe me a large sum of money..the green real dollar kind or work in exchange ..which to her credit she does mention every time she calls…I digress..I need my money back or the work done..simple as that. Seems pretty black and white to me.

As we were finishing our ( very nice ) lunch..I thanked her for the meal….this was a first actually usually goes the other direction..I pay she is temp low on funds. After my grateful expression..she beamed at me and said ..yep you got it…” Your So Welcome ..I’m paying it forward.”

Now really ..she hasnt even paid it up to date as yet…so how in the world can she be paying it* ( our give and take in life) forward? Could she even hear herself?

I made eye contact with her and whatever was in my look aside from shock..must have jolted her some..she added ” Paying it forward is the only way to go”..

Ok..does she even understand the concept? Some time after my considerable loan is even attempted to be paid  off…I may explain that she now …has the ability to give me something ( a lunch ) and call that paying It* forward.

I do understand the concept and will repost this elsewhere….Where you kind friend on line can see it…

Lovely thought and concept..and if is spurs us to pay it up to the line by saying we are paying it forward..then thats great too:) dont have to wait..just do it*
