For some inexplicable reason FC’s site has been rated X. This can only be changed by an average dropping her to something more reasonable. Could you please go to her site @fabolousclown and rate her site an A.
Thanks to everyone’s help, her rating has been reduced to a C which means most people (over 18 I think) can see it. She could still use some more A ratings which will make it more difficult for an individual or small group to move it back up. To give her site an A rating go to her site and pull down the tab at the top called ratings.
If you want to see Ex rated sites/posts you may need to change your settings. (Under Safe Browse you’ll see what your settings allow you to see. Unchecked posts are blocked for you and the default is B, I think).

It happened to me this weekend. If anybody can reach her, tell her to try self-rating the site, which might be enough to open the page for us to rate it.

I got some page to print out and send in to age verify. WTF?
I cannot get on her site. Says it is X rated and noone under 18 is allowed. I am way over 18.
@EmilyandAtticus - self rating meaning, when you write on your web blog, you rate at the bottom, is it?
@hombre_de_la_mancha - That’s the problem. I’m unwilling to do that, and that’s true of most people.
@angys_coco - You need Xanga approval to get on X sites, it’s pretty involved. I posted about this let me know if that doesn’t answer your question on the ratings.
This is a site-wide attack so other people should check their ratings as well.

@Marica0701 - You might have difficulty getting on her site. I can’t get on. I agree, I adore her, so I want to help.
For your site, I went and looked and didn’t see any ex ratings, although somebody gave you a B. I gave you an A, as your site was rated B, and now it’s an A. Go to your page, and look at the buttons on top, where it says “subscribe” and I forget the others. You will see one saying “ratings.” Click on it, and it will open up and show your self-rating, which you should change to an A, and the community rating, which for you is showing as an A. There is a button there to see a chart, and if you click that, it will break it down so you can see if you got any ex ratings. I don’t know who is behind this, or how they are picking people to target. My page was on top blogs for a couple of hours, and that is when I got hit, so I’m back on friends lock. @HUMOR_ME_NOW - She can’t change it herself. That’s the point. Her page has been attacked. Other people have to rate it, but when they attack and make it ex rated, then people can’t get on the page. It’s an especially nasty way to attack people’s pages.

I think I had rated my site as B a while ago because of the off occasion that I use an expletive, haha.

Each site has two ratings one is a self rating and the other is a community rating. You can self rate your site (under settings/safe browsing)
@RushmoreJ - That self-rating does help. And we should rate each others’ sites as A if we can access them. I hope fabolousclown can change her self-rating and that it can help.

@EmilyandAtticus - I would have to change my site to EX and that requires that I send Xanga verification of my age. I had a few people that had EX sites that I cannot visit.
@HUMOR_ME_NOW - I know that’s what I’m saying LOL. Their sites are ex because of this attack, that’s why it’s so evil because it keeps people from helping them.
@RushmoreJ - Oh you can access her site! Another friend was able to as well and was able to give her an A, but she must have gotten hit with a lot of X ratings if her site is still closed.
I’m trying to think of how else to help, as this is so wrong. 
@EmilyandAtticus - Maybe I should send in the documentation to prove I am over 18 and rate my site EX long enough to visit others. Long ago I ended up on some sites that my mother and wife would hate. lol
I have sent the requisite form in, and should be able to help Clara by the end of this week.

This happens to me all the time. It’s that Xcite_Media, RecklessEagle, GoldenSilk (the list goes on and on) person with 100 different names. If you piss this person off they will rate your page “EX” a thousand times and you’re fucked.
She’s the sweetest girl in the world. It’s infuriating that this is going on.
EX sites require you to submit verification to view them.

I’d help but doing so requires the age verification form, and there’s no way in hell I’m sending that info to xanga.
Perhaps she might send the team a msg, to have them review and adjust the rating?
They need to do away with the ratings altogether. This isn’t the first time someone has been trolled this way.
@amateurprose - Wow that’s who is behind it? They did it to me too. Do you know any other ideas to fix it? I agree about fabolousclown, I love her and this makes me so mad.

@EmilyandAtticus - Not really. If she gives her page a self rating of “A” it might elevate her rating enough that people can come in and help remedy the problem.
Luckily, I was able to post a pulse and like 45 people rated me ”A” to help fix the problem. It’s only a temporary fix though, because they keep creating new names and rating me EX, so it’s just a matter of time before I have the same problem again.
If xanga would create a way to block an IP address,and not just a user name, then this wouldn’t be an issue. Everytime that IP address pops up I go check my rating and there is a new “EX”.
@amateurprose - I looked at your page and saw the ex ratings. I can give you an A for as much as that will help. When it happened to me, I was lucky in that somebody pointed it out to me early enough to go on friends lock and stop it. So the self-rating helped. The problem was few of my friends had that X access. As soon as you said who was behind it, I realized that must be it, as I would be a likely target there too.
I’m really upset this happened to her, as she is one of the best people on here. Xanga should just get rid of that rating system as it’s crazy that somebody can get their page closed down that way by trolls.

@Kellsbella - On the top of the page usually next to subscribe there is a tab that says ratings. Pull down the tab and you will see the current ratings and a place to give your own rating.
You would think Xanga wouldn’t allow just anyone to rate a page without checking it themselves.
